Overview 

Craig has joined the Capability Collective as COO after a successful tenure across the Primary Sector – in executive level roles such as GM of Strategy for Federated Farmers, Advisor to MPI “fit for a better world” programme and Executive Lead Global Relationships for Norwood. 

He has many years of practical experience and specialist knowledge at senior levels both here and abroad across strategy, risk, assurance, and governance to Board Level, Transformation change, Net Zero, SBTi, enterprise risk management, service management and delivery, sourcing and vendor management, project and programme management and compliance. 

Craig also has extensive financial services and public/private sector experience including process, people and change programmes, organisation and technology optimisation, performance improvement, and risk and compliance in the Enterprise.

Recent Experience

● Board and CEO advisor for the strategic direction and governance of Federated Farmers with the single focus of improving membership value, membership voice, and membership advocacy, in one of the most significant periods of change in the primary sector for many years.

● Executive Lead for the sourcing strategy, procurement, pricing, supply chain and logistics and ultimately placement of 26 international leading brands across the breadth and depth of mixed farming operations in Aotearoa.

● Chair of Risk and Audit with the Trust Alliance NZ – delivering a world first, digital farm wallet in partnership with Federated Farmers and supported by the Crown (MPI).

● Invited to provide specialist ICT advice and assurance for a large Government department’s successful request to Treasury for further investment
