Overview

A leading consultant with over 20 years strategic leadership experience within a wide variety of organisations and cultures. Helen’s approach, skills, and expertise have enabled her to deliver successful outcomes in complex environments. Helen successfully leads technical teams and cross-cultural groups, manages interdisciplinary staff, and facilitates workshops for senior executives and governance boards. Helen is often called on to work with stakeholder groups to balance competing interests in conflict environments. Under her guidance, these groups achieve results in challenging circumstances.

 

Recent Experience

ACCIDENT COMPENSATION CORPORATION - Consultant, Health Outcomes Framework Completed internal consultations with operational units within ACC to design the Framework and agree how it will be used.

ST VINCENTS HOSPITAL - Consultant, Change Management Planning Worked with executive and clinical stakeholders across public and private organisations to develop and agree a plan to move from the campus’ present state to its desired future state.

SOUTHERN DISTRICT HEALTH BOARD - Through facilitated discussion and discovery, Helen worked with key leaders to define a new model called ONE TEAM that will integrate community teams to support older people and others recovering from illness or injury.

NORTHERN SYDNEY LOCAL HEALTH DISTRICT - Together with a team of clinical experts, Helen carried out a review of the centralised rehabilitation program, assisting the LHD to understand gaps in model of care implementation, and areas for improvement.

ST VINCENT HEALTH AUSTRALIA - As part of the PMO Uplift Strategy, Helen proposed a new governance structure, facilitated a new IT Capex priority process, and assisted the PMO with implementation strategies which would lift project management maturity and understanding.

NSW MINISTRY OF HEALTH - Engaged with stakeholders to address the Minister’s priorities for mental health consumers in NSW. Both structured and facilitated the state-wide forum to co-design improved models of care for acutely unwell people with mental health issues accessing care and treatment.
